The National Examinations Board (NEB) conducts the Grade 12 final examinations. Here is everything you need to know.

Exam Timing

• ✓Morning session: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM (3 hours)
• ✓Afternoon session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (3 hours)
• ✓Reporting time: 30 minutes before the exam

Important Instructions

Before the exam:

• ✓Bring your admit card — you will not be allowed in without it
• ✓Bring at least 2 black ball-point pens
• ✓Bring a ruler and calculator (for applicable subjects)
• ✓Arrive at least 30 minutes early
• ✓Check your exam center location in advance

During the exam:

• ✓Read all questions carefully before starting
• ✓Attempt all required questions — do not leave blanks
• ✓Manage your time — don't spend too long on one question
• ✓Write clearly and legibly

Answer paper tips:

Marking System

• ✓Theory paper: 75 marks
• ✓Practical/Project: 25 marks
• ✓Total: 100 marks per subject
• ✓Minimum pass: 35 marks in theory, 13 marks in practical
